IRAN GLASS PRODUCTS (IGP)

Iran Glass Products firm was founded in 2001 in Isfahan, Islamic republic of Iran and constantly strengthens its leading position on the high-tech glass market by continual perfection of the system of production management and customer service as well as systematic modernization of technological equipment and increasing the quality of products. All investments are undertaken to offer a better product range intended to satisfy consumer needs. Their visible satisfaction regarding the partnership with IGP Company justifies the decisions taken.

Technology

IGP has the following up-to-date facilities at its disposal for glass treatment:

  •  Automatic lines for glazing with maximum panel dimensions 2200 x 3200 mm,

  •  Tables for cutting and shaping glass of the float type and coated glass,

  •  Furnaces for chemically and thermally strengthening of glass,

  •  Abrasive lines for blunting, grinding, polishing and chamfering edges of glass,

  •  Stationary drills,

  •  Facilities for glazing glass with silk-screen printing as well as a ceramic or silicon coating, which allows for the production of non-transparent glass (the so-called spandrel),

All the mentioned equipment is manned by a highly qualified staff, which allows for the highest level of quality production.

Quality Systems

The main aim of IGP is to strengthen its leading position in the market of double-glazing glass and the continual expansion of the highly-processed, special glass on offer. The constant strive for the highest quality of products and customer services resulted in 2005, when the firm achieved the ISO 9001:2000 and extended to ISO 9001:2008. According to the norms of ISO, it is in recognition of high quality and reliability of the products and the high level of services provided. IGP honors were continued by achieving the test certificate for bulletproof glass from "BESCHUSSAMT MUNCHEN" a well known verification office for weapons and security engineering in Germany and also from "IKATES, s.r.o. Laboratory for glass and building products testing" in Czech republic . Moreover, achieving the EC certificate from European community for application of CE Mark on bulletproof glass is another of our company attributes.

Also IGP has developed close relationship with institute of standard & industrial research of Iran (ISIRI) as the local standard reference. We are also proud of being awarded Iran national standard certificate, being introduced as national qualified producer and distinguished manufacturer for produce of vehicles transparencies and safety and security glass for buildings.

PRODUCTS

Electrical Heating Glass

IGP Electrical Heating Glass is a heatable laminated glass that can be applied either on windscreens or backlights and even in the most extreme conditions allows clear and undistorted vision. The main difference regarding ordinary laminated glazing consists of almost invisible heatable microwire filaments embedded on the PVB interlayer film. An electrical current is then passed through these microwires to achieve the mist and ice free effect.

Bullet Proof Glass

IGP bullet proof glass provides high level security glazing with a defined resistance against the firing of specified weapons and ammunition from handguns to armor piercing rifle. IGP bullet proof glass is a composite of asymmetrical glass clad polycarbonate sheet. This glazing is specially designed to absorb both the impact and the enormous energy of a projectile, and to contain it within the glass panel.

Increasingly, glass for buildings needs to perform several functions not only providing a means to see outside and allow light into the building, but often several other functions as well. In most situations glass has to provide insulation to keep heat in, but the increasing use of glass in structures demands that glass will also keep excessive heat from the sun out of the building, particularly now that our summers are getting warmer. The glass may also be a structural component, and possibly providing protection against terrorists or intruders. Glass is therefore, by necessity a multi-functional component in building design. IGP suggest the most beneficial finished product which performs all the demands expected from it by offering:

  • Insulated glass.

  • Silk screened glass.

  • Laminated glass.

  • Tempered glass.

  • Chemically strengthened glass.

  • Bent glass.

  • Water repellent glass.

  • LED laminated glass.

  • UV control glass.

  • IR control glass.

  • Sound insulation glass.

  • Electrical heating glass.
